Your objective is to reach the end of the level, past the shadows, and find out what’s on the other side sunny

How to Play

Trim the branches of your tree so they can gather the light that will make it grow.

Controls are mouse-based: trim branches by drawing a line over them / scroll up & down with the mouse wheel

Note that you can also scroll with the arrow keys or W/S which can be convenient on certain machines. Also the shift key accelerates the scorll

Leaf Color Meaning

fallen_leaf Yellow & Red = the branch is collecting light.

leaves Green & Blue = the branch is growing.

new_moon Grey = the branch is shadowed. Shadowed leaves subtract energy, so try to minimize them!

Leaves will start to fall if the tree growth stops. Trimming a branch will make it it re-grow

I love the aesthetic and the color choice. I love that everything is gray (with a little hint of red or blue it looks like!) while the leaves are so colorful, it makes them really pop!

Really clever idea! There's a lot of room for interesting strategies here. I felt very zen just watching the tree slowly grow, pruning it out bit by bit. Except for the moment where I accidentally snip a crucial part of the tree and audibly gasp at what I've done. It would be nice to get some indication of what sections of the tree you're about to destroy with this snip.

I found it a bit hard to figure out how to influence growth on the exact part of the tree I wanted to grow. But I guess that's part of the game is to figure that out. Guess I just have to play more ;)

Simply amazing! <3

Please consider making a mobile version of this game.

Very nice, meditative game with relaxing soundtrack and not so simple gameplay as it may seems. I really enjoyed while I was playing it, and it was interesting to grow tree higher and higher. I wonder if there is a maximum height (I've got at 292)...
